1. Data Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website, in our customer portal “Regulatory Intelligence Portal” (portal.aegironcapitalgroup.com), in the context of our business development activities, and in the context of our software products is:

Aegiron Capital Group Ltd

Andrea Omirou Avenue 30, Aristo Plot Paradise 1, Apartment 302

8047 Universal, Paphos, Cyprus

Registration number: HE 482148

VAT ID: CY60246737I

Email: legal@aegironcapital.com

Data Protection Officer: Aegiron Capital Group Ltd is not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer pursuant to Article 37 GDPR, as its core activities do not involve large-scale processing of special categories of data or large-scale systematic monitoring. For all data protection inquiries, please contact legal@aegironcapital.com.

2. Data Collection and Usage

2.1 Website Visitors

Server Log Files: When you visit our website, the server automatically records standard data such as your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and time of access. This data is used strictly for technical operation and security purposes. The same applies when you retrieve our freely available samples and sample issues (PDF) or our RSS feeds; no registration is required for this. These log files are also generated when you open our customer portal (Section 2.4).

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest in ensuring the technical functionality and security of our website.

Retention: We do not analyse the log files ourselves. They are visible in our hosting customer area for no more than 7 days; how long our hosting provider keeps them beyond that is determined by its deletion routines.

Contact Form and Email: When you contact us via our contact form or by email, the data you provide (in the form: company name (mandatory for orders, otherwise optional), name, email address, service interest, message content) is stored for the purpose of processing your inquiry and any follow-up communication. You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide this data. Without the details marked as mandatory, however, we cannot answer an inquiry; for an order we also need the company name, address and VAT ID (businesses outside the EU: company registration or tax number), because otherwise we cannot accept it or issue an invoice.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures at your request – where you yourself are or wish to become the contracting party. Where you inquire on behalf of a company, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in answering business inquiries and initiating contracts with your company.

Retention: Contact form data is retained for the duration of the business inquiry. If no business relationship is established, the data is deleted within 6 months of the last communication, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

2.2 Prospecting and Business Development

Where we approach potential business clients directly (for example via professional networks such as LinkedIn), we collect and process personal data of potential business contacts (“prospects”). This data is collected from publicly available sources, not directly from the data subject.

Existing business contacts: We keep contact details of persons with whom we are or were in business contact (for example, counterparts from earlier projects and negotiations, partners, and contacts in professional networks) for as long as the business contact continues. The 30-day period stated below applies to first approaches that receive no response.

Sources of data:

  • •Company websites and impressum/legal notice pages
  • •Public business directories
  • •Professional networking platforms (e.g. LinkedIn)
  • •Trade and commercial registers

Categories of data processed:

  • •Name (first name, last name)
  • •Business email address
  • •Business phone number
  • •Company name and legal form
  • •Job title or role/function
  • •Company website URL
  • •Company address

Purpose: To contact potential business clients about our services (go-to-market and Closing-as-a-Service, consulting on market entry and regulatory orientation, software development, AI consulting, commercial due diligence, Regulatory Intelligence, and the DACH Market Entry Playbook); to manage our business development pipeline; and to maintain records of business communications.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest. Our legitimate interest is to market our services to businesses that may benefit from them. We have conducted a balancing test and concluded that this interest is not overridden by the data subjects’ rights and freedoms, as:

  • •We only process business contact data in a professional context, not private personal data.
  • •All data is sourced from publicly accessible business information.
  • •Our outreach is exclusively B2B in nature and directed at business decision-makers.
  • •We point out the right to object in our first message, and an objection is possible informally at any time, including as a simple reply to our message.
  • •The volume and frequency of outreach is limited and proportionate.
  • •The first contact on professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn) is a connection request without advertising. We send promotional messages and emails only where the person addressed has given prior consent or has asked for information.

Data source disclosure (Art. 14 GDPR): As required by Article 14(2)(f) GDPR, we inform each prospect in our first communication about the specific source from which their personal data was obtained (e.g. “your company website”, “your LinkedIn profile”).

Retention:

  • •If a prospect does not respond to our outreach: data is deleted within 30 days after the last attempted communication (maximum 2 follow-ups).
  • •If a prospect responds and declines / requests removal: data is deleted within 14 days of the request (except for the entry on the suppression list, see Right to Object).
  • •If a prospect becomes a client: data is retained for the duration of the business relationship and thereafter in accordance with statutory retention obligations (see Section 2.3).

Right to Object: You have the right to object to the processing of your data for direct marketing purposes at any time, without providing any reason. Upon receiving your objection, we will immediately cease processing your data for this purpose and delete it within 14 days; we keep only your name and company on a suppression list so that we do not contact you again. To exercise this right, contact us at legal@aegironcapital.com or reply to any of our communications with “unsubscribe”, “remove”, or “entfernen”.

2.3 Client Data

When a business relationship is established, we process additional data as necessary for the performance of the contract, including:

  • •Billing and invoicing information
  • •Project-related data (briefings, content provided by the client, correspondence)
  • •Communication history

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract – where you yourself are our contracting party. For contact persons of a company that is our contracting party, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR applies: our legitimate interest in performing the contract with that company; this also applies in Sections 2.4 and 2.7. The retention of invoicing records is based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR (statutory retention obligation).

Retention: Contract, billing, and invoicing records are retained for the duration of the contractual relationship and thereafter for the period required by applicable tax and commercial law (minimum 6 years). Section 2.6 applies to other project-related data.

2.4 Regulatory Intelligence Service and Customer Portal

Our Regulatory Intelligence service provides subscribers with editorially reviewed regulatory updates in our customer portal, the “Regulatory Intelligence Portal” by Aegiron Capital Group at portal.aegironcapitalgroup.com. For ordering, invoicing, and access, we process:

  • •Name and email address of your contact person for the order, the order confirmation, sending the access code, and invoices
  • •Company name, address, and VAT ID (businesses outside the EU: company registration or tax number) for invoicing; Section 2.7 applies accordingly to the VAT ID check
  • •Subscription data (start, cancellation, end of access) and the details of your access code (customer label, issue, redemption deadline, and redemption); the portal stores the code itself only as a hash
  • •Payment data for our monthly invoices (incoming bank transfers; where card payment has been agreed, Revolut handles the payment, Section 3; we do not store card data)

In the customer portal

When you register for and use the customer portal, it processes the following data. The portal does not ask for your name, your address, or payment data.

  • •Account: your business email address as login name, the role, the interface language, light or dark reading mode, the status, the time and reason of a suspension, the end of your access (“access until”), timestamps (created, activated, last active), and the reference to the access code you redeemed
  • •Login data: password and recovery codes only as a hash, the secret for two-factor authentication only in encrypted form
  • •Company profile: activities, licences or status, countries, topics, and the language of the summaries. The portal uses them to select the matching updates. Read status and bookmarks are added to this. We do not analyse this information, and we cannot see it in the administration area
  • •Sessions: to keep you signed in, the portal stores for each session a hash of the session token, timestamps, the device type (browser and operating system, e.g. “Firefox · Windows”), and your network. Network means: your IP address shortened to its first three blocks (IPv4) or its first 48 bits (IPv6); of this, the portal stores only a keyed hash, never the IP address itself
  • •Login log: time and type of sign-ins and security-relevant events (e.g. successful or failed sign-in, wrong two-factor code, password changed, session ended by another sign-in, account locked), each with device type and network
  • •Protection against password guessing: counters of failed attempts per network and per login name entered, both stored only as a hash, plus a counter per account under the internal account number for the lock after 20 failed attempts in 24 hours
  • •Administration log: our administrative actions concerning your account and your access code (creating and revoking access codes, suspension with reason and lifting it, ending sessions, issuing a password reset code, resetting two-factor authentication, changing the end of access, deletion)

Access is intended for one person (see our Terms of Service). At most two sessions can be active at the same time; a further sign-in ends the oldest one. From sessions and the login log, the portal shows us indications of shared use, for example more than three different device types (browser and operating system) within seven days, sign-ins from more than two networks within 24 hours, or new sign-ins repeatedly ending running sessions. Such an indication does not lead to an automatic suspension: we review it and decide ourselves. After 20 failed attempts within 24 hours, the portal locks the account automatically for your protection; we lift the lock as soon as we have made sure that the request comes from you.

Public publications and AI service

For the updates, the portal retrieves public publications of authorities and official bodies of the EU, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland every day. We send the title, a text excerpt (at most 30,000 characters), the body, the address, and the date to Google (Gemini, Section 3) to have them classified and summarised. We do not send any data of the portal's users. Email addresses and phone numbers are removed from the texts beforehand. Publications that are directed against named persons or centre on them are excluded by fixed rules for each source that check the title, address, section, or short text; this covers, for example, warnings about unauthorised firms, measures against individuals, and sanctions lists, and for several sources also speeches, interviews, and personnel announcements. Of excluded publications, the portal stores only a hash of the address so that it does not retrieve them again. If no rule catches such a publication, it may go to the AI service; it does not appear in the portal, because we review every update before publication and do not release such updates. The remaining texts may contain names of officials, for example where a press release quotes the head of the authority. Our summaries do not name persons, and we review each one before publication. The legal basis for processing such names is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in evaluating official publications for our subscribers. The names come from public communications of the authorities and concern the persons in their official capacity. Informing them individually would involve a disproportionate effort (Art. 14(5)(b) GDPR); we therefore provide this information here. Text excerpts are deleted 90 days after processing; the title and address of the original publication remain in the portal's archive for as long as we offer the service.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract – for ordering, invoicing, account, sign-in, company profile, read status, bookmarks, and sessions, where you yourself are our contracting party; for contact persons and users of a company that is our contracting party, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR applies (Section 2.3). The login log, indications of shared access, counters against password guessing, the administration log, and backups are based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest is to protect the portal and your account against misuse, to be able to resolve faults, and to ensure that access is used only by the authorised person. The retention of invoicing records is based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Retention:

  • •Account, company profile, read status, and bookmarks: until 30 days after the end of your access; at your request we delete the account immediately. Afterwards only an entry without email address and without customer label remains (timestamps, language, and technical details such as the role and the reference to the access code), so that our administrative actions remain traceable
  • •Label of an access code (customer or company): with the deletion of the account; for codes never redeemed or revoked, 12 months after the redemption deadline
  • •Registrations in which two-factor authentication was not completed: 24 hours
  • •Sessions: end after 12 hours without activity, at the latest after 14 days; login log: 90 days; counters against password guessing: about one day at most; password reset codes: 7 days after they expire
  • •Administration log: 365 days
  • •Backups of the portal: daily backups for 14 days, plus an encrypted monthly copy kept by us, of which we keep the last three at most. Deleted data may therefore remain in backups for up to about three months. Backups made by our hosting provider (Section 3) are deleted under its routines
  • •Order and subscription data outside the portal: the duration of the subscription plus 12 months after it ends; invoicing records at least 6 years (Section 2.3)

In the portal you change your password, two-factor authentication, recovery codes, company profile, language, and reading mode yourself; there you also see your sessions and can end other sessions. You can obtain a copy of your data (Art. 15 and 20 GDPR) or the immediate deletion of your account on request at legal@aegironcapital.com.

2.5 DACH Expansion Network (Partner Referrals)

As part of our DACH Expansion Network, we facilitate introductions between our clients and suitable third-party service providers (including law firms, tax advisers, HR providers, and banks). For this purpose, we share client contact details with these partners.

Categories of data shared with partners:

  • •Client name and company name
  • •Business email address
  • •Specific service requirements relevant to the referral

Important: Client data is shared with third-party partners only after the client has provided explicit consent for each individual referral. Clients may withdraw their consent at any time, after which no further data will be shared with that partner.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR – consent. Data is shared only with the explicit consent of the client for each referral.

Partner obligations: We pass on only the contact details needed for the introduction and tell each partner in writing that they may be used for that introduction only. The partner then processes the data as an independent controller under the data protection law that applies to it.

Right to withdraw consent: Clients may withdraw their consent for any referral at any time by contacting us at legal@aegironcapital.com. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal.

Retention: Records of a referral (your consent, the partner introduced, the data shared) are retained for the duration of the business relationship and for 36 months thereafter, so that the referral and the consent can be evidenced. Contact details and vetting notes on partners are retained for as long as we consider the partner for referrals.

2.6 Engagements: Due Diligence, Closing, and Consulting

In the course of our engagements (commercial due diligence, go-to-market and Closing-as-a-Service, consulting, AI consulting, and software development), we process confidential business data. This may include personal data contained in corporate, sales, and compliance documents — including data of persons who are not themselves our contractual partners (e.g. employees or managers of a target company, or contacts at our clients’ target customers). In go-to-market and closing engagements we also research business contact details of contacts at target customers from the sources listed in Section 2.2, approach these persons on behalf of our client, and pass contact details and the status of the conversation on to the client. The right to object described in Section 2.2 applies here as well; we forward any objection to the client. Where a client is established outside the EEA, we transfer this data only on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission (Art. 45 GDPR) or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR); on request we will tell you the recipient and the safeguard.

  • •Confidential business data as required by the engagement; in closing engagements also business contact details of contacts at target customers
  • •Documents and data from an engagement are processed exclusively for that engagement; business contacts that arise in the course of it are continued as our own business contacts (Section 2.2), unless the engagement agreement provides otherwise
  • •Strict confidentiality obligations apply to all personnel involved
  • •Data is stored on encrypted, access-controlled systems

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for the data of our clients where they are natural persons; Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for the data of their contact persons and of other persons contained in engagement documents — our legitimate interest lies in the proper performance of the engagement. Where we process data solely on a client's instructions, we act as that client's processor under a data processing agreement.

Retention: Data is retained for the duration of the engagement plus 36 months thereafter, so that the engagement can be documented and follow-up questions answered. Data is deleted after this period unless statutory obligations require further retention.

2.7 DACH Market Entry Playbook

When purchasing our DACH Market Entry Playbook (digital product), we process the following personal data:

  • •Email address (from your order) for digital delivery of the product and of the updates included in the purchase price (24 months from the purchase date)
  • •Company name, address, and VAT ID (businesses outside the EU: company registration or tax number) for invoicing and for licensing the product to your company; you give us these details with your order. We may check the validity of the VAT ID through the European Commission’s VAT Information Exchange System (VIES)
  • •Payment data: the incoming payment for our invoice (account holder, amount, date, payment reference)

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract. Processing is necessary for the fulfilment of the purchase and delivery of the digital product.

Retention: Purchase records are retained for the duration required by applicable tax and commercial law (minimum 6 years).

3. Processors and Other Recipients

We use the following service providers. Unless stated otherwise, they process personal data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR):

  • •Hostinger International Ltd (Larnaca, Cyprus, EU) – Website hosting and content delivery, and operation of our customer portal (application, database, and backups). The website and the customer portal are hosted on servers in Germany (Frankfurt am Main); Hostinger stores backups in France. Data processed: server log files as described in Section 2.1 and the data stored in the customer portal (Section 2.4). Where Hostinger uses sub-processors outside the EEA for this, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses in Hostinger's data processing agreement apply.
  • •Proton AG (Plan-les-Ouates/Geneva, Switzerland) – Email communication (Proton Mail) and storage of business documents (Proton Drive): receiving and sending our emails, including inquiries submitted via the contact form, and storing business and engagement documents. Data processed: content and metadata of email communication and the documents stored there. Transfer safeguard: European Commission adequacy decision for Switzerland (Art. 45 GDPR).
  • •EmailJS Pte. Ltd. (Singapore) – Processing of contact form submissions (company name, name, email address, service interest, message, and the IP address transmitted with the request). Data is transmitted directly from the user’s browser to EmailJS servers for email delivery; the servers are operated in the United States (Amazon Web Services). Transfer safeguard: EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR) under the EmailJS data processing agreement. According to EmailJS, request data is retained for no more than 30 days.
  • •Google Cloud EMEA Limited (Dublin, Ireland, EU) – AI service Gemini (paid tier of the Gemini API) for classifying and summarising public publications of authorities in the customer portal. Data processed: only the texts of these publications, which may contain names of officials (Section 2.4); Google receives no data of our users. Google does not use the input to train its models and, according to Google, retains it for 55 days solely to detect misuse. Processing may take place in any country where Google or its sub-processors maintain facilities, including the United States; for the safeguards see Section 5.
  • •Revolut Bank UAB (Vilnius, Lithuania, EU) – the bank that holds our account: incoming payments for our invoices and, where we agree card payment with you, the handling of that payment. Data processed: the details of your bank transfer or card payment. Revolut is a credit institution licensed in Lithuania and processes payment data as an independent controller, including to meet its own legal obligations (e.g. anti-money laundering); Revolut’s privacy notice applies in addition. Aegiron Capital Group Ltd does not store and has no access to payment card data.

Data processing agreements in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR are in place with all processors — that is, all service providers listed above except Revolut. Should we engage additional service providers in the future, this section will be updated accordingly.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

Our website does not set cookies and does not store any information on your device. We use no analytics, tracking, or advertising tools and embed no third-party content when a page loads; fonts are served from our own server. Entries in our interactive tools (License Navigator, Regulatory Radar, DORA Vendor Check) are processed in your browser only; they are neither stored nor transmitted to us.

An exception applies when you start a live demo on the “Coding as a Service” page by clicking: the respective application may then store data in your browser to function, such as settings and demo data (for example, the state of a demo account); details are set out in Section 10.

Customer portal: Only when you sign in to our customer portal as a subscriber does the portal set a cookie named “__Host-ap_session”. It contains a random session token, is valid only for the portal, is transmitted only in encrypted form, and cannot be read by scripts. Its lifetime is 10 minutes during sign-in, 30 minutes while two-factor authentication is being set up or recovered, and at most 14 days after sign-in; after 12 hours without activity the server ends the session, and signing out deletes the cookie. The cookie is strictly necessary for signing in; no consent is required for it (Art. 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC). Without sign-in, the portal sets no cookie. Beyond this, it stores nothing in your browser, uses no analytics, tracking, or advertising tools, and loads no third-party content.

5. Data Sharing and International Transfers

We do not trade in address data: we do not sell or rent personal data as a product in its own right. We prepare target-account lists and pipeline reports only within an engagement and only for the respective client (Section 2.6).

We share personal data only to the extent necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy: with the service providers listed in Section 3, with our clients in go-to-market and closing engagements (business contact details of contacts at target customers and the status of conversations, Section 2.6), with partners in the DACH Expansion Network with your consent (Section 2.5), with our bookkeepers, tax advisers and auditors (invoicing and payment records), and with authorities where we are legally required to do so. Messages we send or receive through a professional network are processed by its operator as an independent controller (for LinkedIn: LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Dublin). Processors are contractually bound to process data only on our documented instructions and to maintain appropriate technical and organisational security measures.

Where personal data is transferred to countries outside the EEA (to Switzerland in the case of Proton, to Singapore and the United States in the case of EmailJS, and to the United States and other countries in the case of Google; for clients established outside the EEA see Section 2.6, for Hostinger's sub-processors Section 3), such transfers are protected by:

  • •a European Commission adequacy decision for Switzerland (Art. 45 GDPR),
  • •in the case of Google, the European Commission adequacy decision on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework of 10 July 2023 (Art. 45 GDPR), in which Google LLC participates, and
  • •EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR in the case of EmailJS, and for Google for transfers not covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. They form part of the data processing agreements of EmailJS (available at www.emailjs.com/legal/data-protection-agreement) and Google (cloud.google.com/terms/data-processing-addendum); you can also obtain a copy on request at legal@aegironcapital.com.

6. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling

We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you (Article 22 GDPR). In the customer portal, the portal selects updates according to the details in your company profile and shows us indications of shared access (Section 2.4); we decide ourselves, case by case, on consequences such as a suspension. The automatic lock after repeated failed sign-in attempts protects your account; we lift it when you contact us.

7. Your Rights Under the GDPR

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

  • •Right of access (Art. 15): You may request confirmation of whether we process your personal data and obtain a copy of such data.
  • •Right to rectification (Art. 16): You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • •Right to erasure (Art. 17): You may request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”), subject to statutory retention obligations.
  • •Right to restriction (Art. 18): You may request restriction of processing under certain circumstances.
  • •Right to data portability (Art. 20): You may request your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
  • •Right to object (Art. 21): You may object to processing based on legitimate interest at any time. For direct marketing purposes, this right is absolute and unconditional.
  • •Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3)): Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

How to exercise your rights: Contact us at legal@aegironcapital.com. We will respond to your request within one month. In complex cases, we may extend this period by two further months, in which case we will inform you accordingly.

Right to Lodge a Complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority for Aegiron Capital Group Ltd is:

Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection 15 Kypranoros Street, 1061 Nicosia, Cyprus Postal address: P.O. Box 23378, 1682 Nicosia Email: commissioner@dataprotection.gov.cy

www.dataprotection.gov.cy

You may also contact the supervisory authority at your place of residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement, for example:

  • •Germany: the data protection authority of the federal state (Land) in which you live or work
  • •Austria: Datenschutzbehörde (Österreichische DSB)
  • •Switzerland: Eidgenössischer Datenschutz- und Öffentlichkeitsbeauftragter (EDÖB)

For Residents of Switzerland

Where the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) applies to the processing of your data, the information in this Privacy Policy applies accordingly. The supervisory authority is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), to whom you can report a concern. International data transfers involving Swiss data are safeguarded, where required, by Swiss-adapted Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or as required by law. Specific retention periods are detailed in the respective sections above (Sections 2.1 through 2.7).

9. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:

  • •Encrypted transmission (TLS) for our websites; emails are transmitted encrypted where the other party's mail server supports it
  • •Access controls limiting data access to authorised personnel only
  • •Selection of service providers with documented security measures
  • •Use of strong authentication for all systems containing personal data
  • •In the customer portal: two-factor authentication for all accounts, passwords and codes only as hashes, two-factor secrets stored encrypted, shortened and hashed networks instead of IP addresses, limits on sign-in attempts, and daily backups

10. Live Demos and External Links

Our website contains links to external websites, including our company page and our founder’s profile on LinkedIn; a connection to these websites is established only when you click, and the respective operator is responsible for their content and data processing. On the “Coding as a Service” page, we initially show our own demo projects (secrex.exchange, darksitestudio.de, flowconnect.aegironcapitalgroup.com, docmind.aegironcapitalgroup.com) as preview images only. Only when you click “Start live demo” is the application loaded from its server; this transmits your IP address to that server, and the application may store data locally in your browser to function (such as settings and demo data like the state of a demo account; for Darksite Studio, FlowConnect, and DocMind see below). The Secrex demo uses simulated price data by default and does not connect to any third party in that state. Only if you explicitly switch on live price data inside the demo does your browser connect to Binance (api.binance.com and stream.binance.com); this transmits your IP address to Binance, which may process data outside the EEA, where an equivalent level of data protection may not be ensured. This choice is not stored: it applies to the current visit only, and every new start of the demo begins with simulated data again. The legal basis in each case is your consent by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; for transfers to third countries Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future by reloading the page; the demo will then not be loaded again, and there is no longer any connection to Binance. You can also switch live price data off again inside the demo at any time.

The demo applications Secrex, Darksite Studio, FlowConnect, and DocMind refer to this privacy policy. If you open one of these applications directly at its own address rather than via our “Coding as a Service” page, the same applies accordingly: opening it generates server log files at our hosting provider (see Section 2.1), and the application stores data locally in your browser only to the extent required for it to function.

Darksite Studio

Darksite Studio runs entirely in your browser; the application has no backend, sets no cookies, and loads no third-party content. It stores the following locally in your browser only: your settings (colour scheme, language, state of the sidebar), display states (for example, a confirmed notice or an introduction you have already seen), and the changes you make in the demo, such as posts, replies, campaigns, or clients you create. Nothing is stored until you use the application. Files you select in the demo are read in your browser only and are not uploaded; only details such as file name and file size are kept. You can reset the demo changes in the application via “Reset demo”; to remove all entries, delete the website data in your browser. None of this is transmitted to us.

FlowConnect

FlowConnect runs entirely in your browser; the application has no backend, sets no cookies, and loads no third-party content. Everything it shows is simulated: the services and addresses named in the demo are examples, and nothing is sent to them. It stores the following locally in your browser only: your settings (colour scheme, language, sounds, camera follow), display states (for example, a confirmed notice or a finished tour), a history of your most recent simulation runs, 20 at most (time, result, and the sample data generated in the run), and the workflow you put together in the builder, including the text you enter there. A workflow file you import is read in your browser only and is not uploaded; exports (JSON, SVG, PNG, print) are created in your browser and saved on your device only. You can delete the history in the application via “Clear history” and your own workflow via “Clear” in the builder’s menu; to remove all entries, delete the website data in your browser. None of this is transmitted to us.

DocMind

DocMind runs entirely in your browser; the application has no backend, sets no cookies, and loads no third-party content. It is a demo without AI: it shows prepared results for the sample documents that come with it. You cannot load your own documents, and there is no connection to any AI provider; no content is sent to us or to third parties. Merely opening the application stores nothing in your browser. Only when you use it does it store data, and only locally in your browser: your settings (font size, language) once you change them, and display states (for example, a notice you have closed). The history of the sample results shown exists only while the page is open. Exports (Markdown, text, CSV, print) are created in your browser and saved only on your device. You can remove all entries, including those left by an earlier version of the application, by deleting the website data in your browser. None of this is transmitted to us.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our data processing practices, legal requirements, or business operations. The date of the most recent revision is indicated at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.

For material changes that significantly affect how we process your personal data, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice (e.g. by updating the “Last Updated” date prominently and, where applicable, by direct communication).
