The auto-rotating carousel (home page and “Consulting” page) pauses while the mouse pointer or the keyboard focus is on it and stops once an entry has been selected. The ticker on the home page can so far only be paused with the mouse; both stand still when the system setting “reduce motion” is on. The interactive tools, the contact form, the glossary search, the menu on small screens, and the light reading mode need JavaScript; without JavaScript, the main pages remain reachable through the links in the footer. The light reading mode applies to the reading area; header and footer stay dark, and the choice is not stored. The PDF samples and sample issues are not tagged for screen readers; on request we send the content in another form. The live demos on the “Coding as a Service” page are separate applications and are not covered by this statement. We are working on improvements.
